For gardeners who keep a notebook

Loamhand

Know what to do this week, in your beds and your pots, from what each plant needs, your frost dates and your forecast. Every season you record makes the next one easier.

Free, with no card. Export or delete anytime.

Know when

Watering, feeding and pest checks for each planting, worked out from what the plant needs, and when to sow, plant out and expect a harvest, counted from your frost dates. Watering that steps aside when it is going to rain, and tells you why. Turn on notifications and a reminder can reach your phone, not just the app.

Forecasts work anywhere. Planting dates are based on US advice, so outside the US, check what's usual where you are.

Remember everything

What you sowed, what came up and what you picked, season after season. Next spring, see what really happened last year. Download it any time. If you sell what you grow, the books are yours alone — no other member of the garden can see them.

Garden together

Invite a partner, a housemate, or the rest of the allotment. Stewards manage the garden, gardeners log the work, observers just look. Every member sees every bed and what is growing in it; a bed's own notes, photos and history are for whoever tends it, and for stewards.

What we will never do

  • Sell your data. Not to seed companies, not to anyone. It is a founding rule, and it is in the privacy policy.
  • Lock your data in. You can always download everything, and changing plans never deletes anything.
  • Gamify your garden. No streaks, no XP, no badges, no guilt. The reward for tending plants is plants.
  • Hide uncertainty. When a forecast is stale or we do not have good guidance for a plant, we say so instead of guessing.

Now available where you are

Loamhand works anywhere: forecasts, reminders, your history and shared gardens. Zones, frost dates and timings are still US-based. Leave your email and we'll tell you when advice for your area arrives. Nothing else.

We keep only this address and when you joined here, to send that message. To be removed, email [email protected]. How we handle it
